Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogun State chapter, on Tuesday, June 21, 2018 took to the street of the state capital Abeokuta, to sentisize and admonish Nigerians especially the citizen of Ogun state not to sit and watch but exercise their power to vote. And as we all know that without the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) voting is not possible and without registration Permanent Voter Card (PVC) cannot be gotten. So the CAN Ogun State led by His Lordship Bishop. Tunde Akin-Akinsanya took to the street with cluster from NNPC, Lafenwa and the Palace Of the Alake of Egba Land In Ake, Abeokuta encouraging and telling everyone to go and register and get their PVC and later converge at Amosun Park In Panseke, Abeokuta.
Several Christian Leader in the land raised up altars of prayer to the almighty God concerning the state and Nigeria at large with other organizations also encouraging the masses not to be discourage but try their best to get there PVC so as to vote.
INEC Officials also enlightened the everyone about the registration exercise saying its taking place at the local government secretariat for now between 9:00AM – 3:00 PM just Monday to Friday and several allegations irregularities and fraud was raised which they promised to look into and provide solution when necessary and as a result an HOTLINE was given for all to contact in case of fraud, help or irregularities.
